It is World Oceans Day, a perfect time to learn about some spectacular species that currently risk being destroyed. From marine mammoths like the blue whale and the whale shark, to the hawksbill turtles, to the red tuna and even to the coral elkhorn, creatures of all kinds face devastating threats from the environment and in the hands of humanity.
