Witness the heartwarming reunion of 2 circus elephants after 22 long years apart

Shirley and Jenny were circus elephants when Jenny was just a calf and Shirley was in her twenties. Both of these majestic creatures ended up being crippled due to some horrific experiences. I think we can all agree that the circus is not a place for wild animals simply because of the harsh and desolate conditions. While we may have fond memories of curtains and popcorn, unfortunately circuses are not natural or human. Fifteen years ago, in 2000, PBS broadcast a documentary about them and captured their incredible meeting in front of the camera. These old friends met after more than 20 years. Your bond will undoubtedly bring tears to your eyes. As soon as they met at the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, they immediately continued where they left off. They are like one family to another, and it is exciting to see such an incredible bond even after they had separated for so many years! When Shirley meets Tara for the first time, who entered the stable, Tara caresses Shirley's face and damaged ear, just as a human would. Amazing to see. Solomon has been Shirley's guardian for some time, and today she gives Shirley her last bath. She cries while talking about her, and almost lost it when she says: "I do not know who is the first to put a chain, but I'm glad to know that I was the last to take it off." Shirley and Jenny met when Jenny was the last to return to the stable at night, and during the night, in their desire to be closer to each other, they folded the bars between them. So extraordinarily touching: the story of Shirley and Jenny, two crippled elephants gathered at the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee after a 22-year separation. The link was immediate, intense and unforgettable. There are people in this world who do not understand that humans love an animal. But anyone who has had a dog or a cat understands that animals love us more than us. The animals really understand unconditional love! Elephants do not belong to circuses. Share this exciting time with your animal-loving friends to remind everyone how important it is for friends of life to stay in touch.
